    Franklin G. Weller 1833 - 1877. Carriage painter. A noted sentimental artist, pioneer to the art of photography. Student and successor of Frankin White. Contemporary of the Kilburn Brothers and John P. Soule.

    The F. G. Weller firm was associated with several local stereo photographers who later emerge as prominent artists in their own right namely George H. Aldrich, and the Littleton View Company. This company was consolidated into the Underwood & Underwood Company just before the turn of the century.
